We facilitated a series of discussions with the CCG using activity modelling outputs which we used to broker agreement on the base case activity and income assumptions underpinning the size of the new ED.
We helped the finance team to develop the income and expenditure model, who were also engaged in supporting the wider Trust recovery programme. We worked with the Project Team to draft the OBC document which was owned by clinicians and managers and which was subject to rigorous Board level challenge.
The final OBC document was delivered on time to the NHS TDA, having been subject to extensive internal consultation, review and challenge.
The OBC set out a robust and compelling case for investment in new ED facilities.
The case was underpinned by in depth financial, activity and workforce modelling based on extensive engagement with stakeholders.
The business case responded to all of the requirements of the NHS TDA, including a comprehensive business case checklist response.
The OBC received letters of support from Croydon Council, Croydon Health and Wellbeing Board and Croydon CCG.
