Demand for diagnostics imaging is rising by between 5% and 10% every year, and providers are routinely struggling to cope with this, incurring high outsourcing costs and using locum staff to keep business-as-usual operations going.

This rise in demand is increasingly harder to cope with against a back drop of an ageing population with longer life spans and higher levels of chronic co-morbidity; limited operational and capital funding; and an increasing shortage of radiologists and radiographers across the country.

GEHCP have developed approaches to resolve the top twenty diagnostic issues reported by our clients. Collectively these twenty components form our Co-ordinated Diagnostics Network (CDN) solution, covering everything from lean-based resource efficiency to innovative demand management and image reporting through new technologies.
